was pleased to welcome Skip McCourt, Regional Director for Mass Highway, to Marshfield Town Hall last Friday to meet with DPW professionals from Marshfield and Scituate.  Reviewed the next steps in a long process for improving Rte 139, addressed improvements for the Rte 3A Rotary in Scituate, and addressed main DPW priorities for both towns.  At the meeting it was announced that the 139 Project made one of many milestones by being listed on a draft Transportation Improvement Plan listing the State’s funding priorities.  Still have a great deal to follow up from the meeting, with a walk through of Rte 139 to take place this week and final arrangements for beautification of the 3A Rotary to be settled within days …
