Announced the receipt of a grant for the Talking Information Center from the Mass Arts Council tonight along with State Senator Bob Hedlund.   The TIC is a Marshfield based non-profit that provides news services to over 20,000 Massachusetts residents who are visually impaired or who cannot read on their own.   

Following the grant announcement Ron Bersani and I discussed the programs of the Talking Information Center on Bob Hedlund’s radio show on WATD, “Monday Night Talk”.  We also discussed “Melanie’s Law”, the model anti-drunk driver legislation that Ron spearheaded in Massachusetts.  More on that later.
