Creating what WATD radio owner Ed Perry called a “veritable supermarket”, over two hundred Marshfield and Scituate residents came out to celebrate State Representative Jim Cantwell’s birthday this past Sunday by bringing non-perishable food stuffs to benefit local food pantries. In all over $1100 in food and monetary donations were made to help provide essentials for families in both Marshfield and Scituate.
Some of the folks who attended Cantwell’s campaign kick off and made donations to the local food pantries are (l-r) Scituate Selectman Sean Harris, Scituate Selectman Rick Murray, Cantwell, Scituate Food Pantry Director Betty Crowley, Val Baker, Maureen Lalumiere, and Sue Baush.
